Been coming here for about two decades. Love the decor. It was recently renovated. It has an old school vibe. The wait staff is superb. The waiters are the real deal. And the food is amazing. Italian fare. Parms, sweet breads, pastas, meat balls, chops, steaks, etc. I hope to come back for the next twenty years.

If you love San Jose, you love Original Joe's. No two ways about it. Her history is in the food. Talk to the waiters, they make good suggestions. Food is terrific. Price on the high end. But this is a treat. I love the scallops. The have nice cocktails too. Their washrooms are really clean. Good food and good atmosphere. Even when it's very busy, the noise seems to get absorbed to a level where you can enjoy a conversation. Great place.

I have always wanted to stop in for dinner.. I really wish I would have done it sooner because this place is amazing! The food is great, good food and the price is very reasonable. I will drive there over again and again for this place .

The halibut was really good. Service was great as usual. This place has been a San Jose tradition for decades and it clear why it has remained for so long. You will have to rely on downtown parking since there is no private lot. I do like that it's open late.

Great for meat-eaters. Not many vegetarian or vegan options. Their garlic pasta was delicious, the cocktails are STRONG, and our server was excellent so four stars! We found street parking a few blocks away but there's a paid lot across from Joe's.
